Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support the financial operations of a real estate property and facilities management organization in Charleston, South Carolina. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, overseeing key close activities, and ensuring balance sheet and cash accounts are properly reconciled. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing financial data, and helping ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger by recording and reviewing financial transactions across assigned accounts and entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support, accuracy, and alignment to accounting standards.
