Sr Analyst, Hedge Fund Accounting

The Hedge Fund Accounting team looks after Hedge Funds for numerous Asset Management clients. The Analyst ensures timely & accurate delivery of reports & accounts for a range of clients. This individual will have a strong technical accounting background and experience working within the Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely & accurate delivery of NAV reports for a range of clients.
• Responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements in accordance with accepted accounting standards.
• Understand and analyze the fund’s operating expenses and accruals.
• Post manual journal entries related to accruals and capital activities.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues and communicate these to Home Location and internal stakeholders.
• Comply with the regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates as appropriate to the role.
