Opportunity Description

The Design Systems Engineer-SRT acts as the primary interface between the Chief Engineer group and Product Release Center. Primarily responsible for managing System, interfaces and interactions between components / subsystems of the gear reducer and driveline system.


  • Gear Reducer and/or Driveline hardware system responsible (integration and system balancing of all gear reducer and driveline components) Interfacing with individual COEs Manufacturing Suppliers
    Development Validation Center Schedules hardware system design reviews across PRC and reviews DRE design proposals as required

  • Organize reviews with Virtual Analysis / CAE team and ensures Virtual DVP / Scorecard is completed prior to any prototype hardware orders 

  • Manage Transmission and/or Driveline System and Interface DFMEA / DRBFM (team) reviews to ensure complete transparency and development of cohesive Design Controls leading to Robust DVP Actions
