Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations for a food processing organization in Lancaster, California. This position plays an important role in keeping accounting records accurate, timely, and aligned with established standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across core accounting functions and is comfortable working with detailed financial data in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other closing adjustments to support monthly and annual close activities.
• Review general ledger activity, validate account coding, and resolve discrepancies to maintain reliable financial records.
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations on a recurring basis and investigate variances as needed.
