The Staff Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end close. This role is ideal for an early- to mid-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation and grow within a finance team.
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare and post journal entries
+ Perform monthly account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet accounts)
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
+ Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting documentation
+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
+ Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
+ Support internal and external audits
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies
