Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is well suited for someone with early-career experience who is comfortable working across reconciliations, journal activity, and month-end processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong Excel skills, sound general ledger knowledge, and the ability to contribute effectively in a healthcare-related environment.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately to maintain complete and timely financial records.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate variances to ensure balances are properly supported.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including account analysis and deadline-driven reporting tasks.
• Maintain the general ledger by reviewing transactions and helping resolve discrepancies.
• Support grant-related accounting work by tracking financial activity and helping ensure proper documentation.
