Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for a Long-term Contract opportunity based in Pauma Valley, California. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys analyzing financial activity, resolving coding issues, and contributing to month-end close work through strong Excel and general accounting skills. The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting foundation, experience working in larger organizational environments, and the ability to manage both recurring tasks and project-based assignments with accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records across the general ledger.
• Review financial transactions for coding errors and complete reclassifications to ensure entries are properly recorded.
