Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for an organization based in Riverdale, Maryland. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone with strong general ledger expertise and a solid understanding of financial reporting in structured environments, ideally including state or local government fund accounting. The role will focus on maintaining accurate records, preparing routine accounting entries, and helping ensure compliance with tax and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger by recording, reviewing, and reconciling financial activity on a regular basis.
