Staff Accountant

Description

+ Assist the Corporate Controller with month and year-end close

+ Prepare and post monthly journal entries

+ Review GL accounts for accuracy and perform reconciliations

+ Record fixed asset purchases/sales and calculate depreciation

+ File quarterly/annual sales tax returns

+ Support financial reporting (credit cards, petty cash)

+ Provide backup for A/P, A/R, payroll, and HR functions

+ Contribute to process improvement and data-driven decision-making

+ Software: Sage, training will be provided. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, preferred.


Requirements
+ Associate’s degree in accounting or business;

+ 2-3 years of related accounting experience,

+ Or a similar combination of education and experience.
