Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Torrance, California. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for an individual with a strong background in accounting, particularly in General Ledger functions and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
• Process and manage transactions within the General Ledger module of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities for timely financial reporting.
