Our client, in the financial industry, is in need for a Staff Accountant to join their team on a contract basis for 3-6 months, with a potential to extend! This is located in North Tucson, in Oro Valley, and this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and values service, excellence, and integrity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the accounts payable process, including handling approximately 200 invoices per week.
• Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data.
