Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for a Contract position based in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role will contribute to accurate financial reporting, maintain strong records across daily accounting activities, and assist with tax-related work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with general ledger activity, journal entries, and corporate tax processes while working effectively with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on schedule.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to support reliable month-end reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of corporate tax filings and related supporting documentation.
