Starting Pig Specialist will work with farm staff during the nursery stage of production in wean to finish production sites.

Responsibilities & Duties
Train & assist farm staff during the nursery stage of production:
Preplacement site inspections
Initial stocking plans
Sorting & Treating
Mat & Gruel Feeding
Ability to troubleshoot & adjust heating & ventilation systems.
Assessing health issues and the ability to perform on farm diagnostics.
Requirements
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Excellent organizational & time management skills.
Prior swine management experience.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. xhfqzwm
Travel – across Iowa with possible overnight stays.
