Opportunity Description
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all shipyard steel fabrication, sub-assembly, and block erection processes to ensure timely project delivery.
- Develop and implement efficient steel production schedules in line with overall objectives
- Ensure all steelworks comply with Class society standards, client specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize wastage.
- Work closely with the HSE department to enforce strict safety protocols and foster strong culture on work sites
- Manage and evaluate the performance of Steel Supervisors and sub-contractors’ workforce
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 8-10 years working experience in a relevant shipyard management role
