Job Summary:
The Sterile Processing Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of sterile processing to ensure efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and high-quality outcomes. This position leads a team of technicians to ensure that surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, assembled, and sterilized according to standards, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Job Responsibilities:
-Supervise sterile processing technicians and coordinate shift assignments to ensure adequate coverage and workflow.
-Monitor the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments.
-Oversee compliance with ANSI/AAMI standards, IFUs, and internal SOPs.
-Perform and review quality assurance audits and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
