**UWMC - Montalke** has an outstanding opportunity for an **LEAD STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN/ EDUCATOR.**
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ 40 hours per week
+ Day Shift
**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
CSPD is instrumental to patient care and provides cleaning, reprocessing & sterilization support services to Surgical Services and UW Medicine customers. We are open 24/7. We collect, reprocess & stock an average of 6,500 surgical trays and some 6,500 items a week. Our team focuses on compliance with all necessary regulatory requirements and quality assurances in order to provide the highest quality surgical Instruments.

+ Act as a resource to the Central Processing staff.
+ Provides adequate training and orientation for present staff and new employees.
+ Assigns and direct workflow using time allowed, maximizing output.
