The opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Coordinator to join our team at Visy Glass, Penrose, Auckland. The primary purpose of the Stores Controller is to supervise the Glass plant store onsite and manage all goods inwards and outwards at the Auckland Glass Manufacturing Facility, ensuring operational efficiency and cost control, by Company policy and procedures. This role supports the plant's production needs through strategic material management, collaboration with stakeholders, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and ensure proper stock handling
- Inspect incoming goods and verify against purchase orders
- Conduct regular stocktakes and manage inter-branch transfers
