Strategy & Operations Specialist

Overview

you will play a key role in defining and refining policies related to prohibited and restricted items, unfair competition, and listing quality across our platform. You will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing existing policies, monitoring regulatory trends, and identifying opportunities to improve both seller and buyer experience across Shopee. This includes driving initiatives that enhance transparency, ensure compliance, and elevate overall marketplace standards. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Government & Public Relations, Business Development, and Product to ensure alignment, mitigate risks, and deliver consistent policy enforcement at scale.

Responsibilities

• Review and update listing policies, ensuring alignment with current regulations, compliance best practices, and business needs;
• Monitor regulatory changes in local market e.g., ANVISA, MAPA, INMETRO, ANAT...
