About the Position

Engineering Test Pilot – Fixed Wing or Rotary Wing in the Civil Aviation Branch at Transport Canada. Responsibilities

Determine the flight test program necessary for aircraft certification approval. Act as test pilot flight crew member to conduct flight tests necessary for certification and audit manufacturers' production standards. Develop new regulations and advisory material, including acceptable flight test techniques for certification. Review qualifications and make specialist recommendations for authorisation for ministerial delegation to individuals and organisations. Maintain a high level of conventional and flight test specific piloting skills and participate in professional development. Operational Requirements
