Overview:

The Student Accessibility Services Coordinator and Academic Advisor provides equal opportunity to students with disabilities to ensure equal access to education programs, services, and benefits, and to promote a welcoming campus environment for students requiring accommodations. The Coordinator advocates for students with disabilities and seeks to empower them to become their own and best advocates. The Coordinator provides technical assistance and guidance to faculty about providing accommodations to students. The position also provides personal counseling, education, professional programming, as well as services and resources for students with disabilities to create inclusive learning environments.
