Function:
+ The work-study position is responsible for assuring patron assistance.
Organizational Relationship
+ Responsible to the Branch Manager Librarian, Senior Director of Library Services and the Dean of Academic Affairs for successful performance of assigned duties.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
+ Check books/AV/reserve items in and out via automated/manual systems
+ Push in chairs and move furniture back to its original arrangement
+ Pick up books/journals/newspapers/A.V. and place and reshelve in call number order
+ Fill computer printers & copy machines with paper
+ For problems which arise (i.e. equipment malfunction, discipline problems) contact an appropriate library staff member and/or security personnel.
