Supplier Contracts Specialist (Calgary)

Job Overview

Our Procurement group is currently looking to add a Supplier Contracts Specialist to our growing team, based in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven procurement professional to lead a focused initiative aimed at maximizing commercial value across Valard’s vendor base. This role will review total vendor spend, identify high‑spend vendors, and negotiate agreements that deliver preferred pricing, volume discounts, annual rebates, and other commercial incentives that benefit Valard’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Review total vendor spend across categories to identify high‑spend vendors and priority negotiation targets.
• Lead outreach and negotiations with key vendors to establish preferred vendor agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), volume‑based pricing, rebate structures, and other commercial incentives.
