Surgical Technician

Job Summary: The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include being prepared for and knowledgeable of the surgical procedure to be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assists surgeon as necessary, assists circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintains familiarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens and performs other related duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a certified Surgical Technologist who has completed an accredited Surgical Tech program and holds a current CST certification and AHA BLS upon hire. They are detail oriented, team focused, and confident supporting safe, efficient surgical procedures, with prior Operating Room experience preferred.
