Switchboard Operator
Location: St. Joseph Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health

Job Details
Responsibilities of the Switchboard Operator include:
+ Manages hospital codes and alarms
+ Receives and transmits messages
+ Pages hospital staff and physicians and performs code duties.
+ Answer all incoming calls to the main switchboard and transfer to appropriate departments efficiently.
Requirements for the Switchboard Operator role include:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Excellent communication skills required;
+ Basic computer skills preferred.
+ Must be able to work varied shifts which will include weekends and holidays.
