Systems Development Engineer, Amazon Core Search

Amazon.com’s Search org is looking for an engineer to join our team. Search Operations is a follow-the-sun team distributed over two worldwide locations and is responsible for running one of the Internet's largest search infrastructures that powers Amazon’s retail websites.

The team is responsible for operational support for search front-end services and mitigating high severity events. We actively lead efforts to improve the customer experience by maximizing availability, quality, and performance.

We use an Operational Excellence (OE) program to continuously improve our processes. We partner with teams across Amazon Search to achieve highly-resilient systems, share knowledge, and automate away operational burden.
