Compete Tartget Prize International Painting Contest

International Deadline: May 31, 2026 – The second edition of the Tartget Prize International Painting Contest is now open. This international contemporary painting competition has a prize pool of over $100,000.

Artists representing all techniques and styles have until May 31, 2026 to register their works online and compete to be one of the 200 finalists in a contest that distributes more than €90,000 in prizes. Tartget will award prizes in 10 categories, ranging from figurative art to abstract, including conceptual art. Works from hyperrealism to impressionism, surrealism, and abstraction are accepted.

The historic Ateneo de Madrid, just steps from the Prado Museum and the Thyssen Museum, will host the winners’ exhibition, the awards ceremony, and a selection of finalists from September 18 to 25, 2026.
