Teacher (Geography/Social Studies) - Secondary

The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons
• Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
• Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance via assignments and assessments
• Monitor students’ social development through counselling and working with parents
• Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
• In-charge of at least one co-curricular activity and/or committee
• Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events
• Any other duties assigned by the School

• A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline
• Post-graduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent will be an advantage
