Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Radyr Comprehensive School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils experiencing significant anxiety and challenges related to school attendance (ABSA).

The successful candidate will work closely with a small group of pupils who face considerable barriers to attending school and may present with high levels of anxiety. This role requires a proactive and empathetic approach, with a strong commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and engagement in learning.

31 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

1-year temporary contract in the first instance.

•Providing targeted support to pupils struggling with attendance due to anxiety and related needs.
