Teaching Assistant – SEMH

FULL TIME, UNTIL JULY 2026 – STARTING IMMEDIATELY

This Good rated mainstream secondary school houses its own, on-site, specialist provision for young people who need that little extra support and guidance. Students in this provision can pose challenges but staff who are calm, patient, resilient and caring will make huge differences in this recently modernised setting.

This role would be ideal for either an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant or someone considering teacher training for September 2026. This role of a TA is “all encompassing” and you will provide academic support, 1:1 mentoring, and some “crisis intervention”. This is a full time role and will run until July 2026.
