Opportunity Description
Join a large and stable short term insurance company and utilize your accounting and IFRS 17 experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement IFRS 17
- Prepare and process commission and broker reports
- Reconcile both Premium and claims bank accounts
- Attend to insurer and broker queries
- Assist and prepare Month end reports
- Assist the team with other Ad-hoc duties
- Assist with Claims payments from time to time
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Degree
- SAICA / SAIPA preferred
- Experience on IFRS 17 Essential (Not negotiable)
- Insurance technical accounting experience
- Ability to process premium collection, refund payments, returned debits and allocate deposits received
- FAC experience will be an added advantage
- SAP experience will be an added advantage
