Technical Data Consultant - 3 Month Contract
Up to £550 P/D Outside IR35
Manchester - Hybrid (x2 days a week)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well‑established gambling and gaming organisation seeking a Technical Data Consultant to support a focused discovery and documentation engagement.

This is a hands‑on contract for someone who enjoys stepping into complex, legacy‑leaning data environments and making them understandable, supportable, and less reliant on individual knowledge.

The role

You'll be brought in to:

Investigate and reverse‑engineer live data platforms with limited documentation

Build a clear picture of the current‑state data architecture and data flows

Review and document business‑critical SQL and transformation logic

Produce practical operational documentation and runbooks

Work closely with long‑tenured engineers to capture knowledge and reduce key‑person risk
