Cubic Transportation Systems – Wellington Central, North Island

This role performs preventative and corrective maintenance for equipment, repairing to board level. Incumbents of this role will also carry out product builds on the production assembly lines to specifications. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision‑making authority.

Key responsibilities

• Perform equipment‑related preventive and corrective maintenance, on‑site diagnosis, troubleshooting, repairs and replacement of modular components.
• Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, work orders, customer specifications, test instructions/procedures and engineers' notes/memos to determine tests/equipment required.
