Description: The registered nurse will perform direct patient/resident care and delegation to patient care technicians in providing care and comfort to the residents. Knowledge and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained. This position has basic medical/surgical knowledge to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(30%)* Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician-authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
