Job Summary: Describes anatomy/steps for surgeries; Uses sterile technique; assist surgical team with procedure; collaborates with other members of OR team; transports patients; Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development in the delivery of care; Facilitates open communication with all team members; Initiates and supports the teaching mentoring process; Maintains a safe work environment; resolves problems on a one-to-one basis; Takes an active role in professional development. Participates in development/implementation of educational programs for surgical technologist program; Demonstrates the ability to perform surgical technology skills for all general and specialty based cases preferred
