Opportunity Description
POSITION GOAL
The Winnipeg Tool & Die Leadership role is responsible for directing and overseeing all activities within the Winnipeg Tool & Die department. The position also provides technical guidance and support to Tooling Technicians across other NABC locations, including St. Cloud, Anniston, and KMG. In addition, this role delivers tooling‑related expertise and support to all New Flyer manufacturing facilities to ensure consistency, quality, and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the overall direction and control of the Tool & Die department from tool design through tool build-up.
- Provides leadership to the department through effective communication and coaching as well as progressive discipline when required.
- Develops annual budgets for manpower, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Tracks and controls expenditures on monthly basis to ensure compliance with budget.
