Responsibilities

: Tooling Repair: - In accordance with the asset management strategy, repair, refurbish, salvage for parts, or prep for sale all shop equipment and tools that come to the Tool Repair Center. - Document what was completed by serial number within Smartsheet and the Asset Management system to ensure accuracy, billing, and the overall outcome of the tool within the Penske environment. Tooling Quality Control: - Inspect and test tools and equipment after they are received and prior to shipping to ensure there is no physical damage or failure that may prevent them from functioning properly. - Perform necessary research to identify and document all failure modes, hidden damage, and failures using proper diagnosis and functional testing. Tool Kit Assembly:  - Build and assemble specialized equipment and tool kits following a Build of Materials (BoM) sheet and documented procedure.
