Tooling Technician (1 Year Renewable Contract)

Responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient cutting tool setup, maintenance, and inventory management to support production schedules and minimize downtime. He/She ensures maximizing tool life, reducing procurement costs, and ensuring overall production efficiency.

• Receive, inspect, and verify cutting tool components against delivery documents, checking for damage or defects
• Set up and prepare cutting tool assemblies according to TDM (Tool Data Management) software specifications to meet production schedules and plans
• Measure cutting tools using presetter (Eg. Zoller) to ensure accuracy and precision
• Maintain and calibrate tooling equipment to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and longevity, thereby maximizing tool life
• Maintain accurate tool inventory records in Tool Data Management Software to ensure real-time visibility of tool availability
