Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance and standard repairs related to trailer equipment, including fuel systems, batteries, engines, drive trains, onboard computers, transmissions, air brake systems and FHWA inspections
Troubleshoot trailer issues and accurately perform intermediate-level repairs to company and manufacturer’s specifications, complete work orders and demonstrate understanding of company requirements for standard repair times (SRT) and warranty guidelines
Assist with the onboarding and mentorship of trailer technician trainees
Participate in Original Equipment Manufacture training for OE repairs
Understand and effectively follow all shop safety procedures
Maintain professional communication with J.B. Hunt personnel and customers
