Training and Safety Coordinator - Surrey

Position Description

Reporting to the Regional Manager, HR, the Training and Safety Coordinator has a secondary reporting relationship to the Plant Manager for safety-related responsibilities (approximately 40%), while training responsibilities (approximately 60%) report through HR. The coordinator oversees training in Operations, Quality, and technical roles and is responsible for promoting and implementing policies and programs that ensure employee health and safety compliance.

The coordinator collaborates with the HR Business Partner and Plant Leadership to maintain accurate training materials and aligns the plant's training plan with Refresco NA’s. They also stay updated on local and state training programs and incentives.

Essential Job Functions

• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and PPE requirements.
• Adhere to food quality and food safety standards such as SQF.
