Job Description
Contributing to the success of the Transport team, you will be responsible for the day to day planning of the transport operation, through the efficient planning of the transport operation.
Working hours: Sunday to Thursday lates, 13.00-22.00
Salary: £37,000 per annum
Key Duties of a Transport Planner:
Ensure effective communication is maintained within the business ensuring teamwork is always strong and collaborative.Ensuring driver team arrive for work on time and arrange cover for absences when required.Correct utilisation of staff and vehicles using the company diary sheet/plannerTo route all vehicles available generating revenue and solid route plans to ensure that routes are both achievable and vehicles are used to best efficiency, maintaining, and updating any amendments throughout the day so the information is live for all to access.To ensure key duties are completed with...
