U-Skills Coordinator - Wairarapa

U-Skills Central Schools Trades Academy delivers Secondary Tertiary programmes across Wairarapa, Manawatu, Whanganui and Horowhenua. The U-Skills programmes allow senior secondary school students the opportunity to gain industry based unit standards while attending UCOL one or two days a week. We are seeking applicants for a U-Skills Coordinator on our Wairarapa campus. This is a permanent fulltime ( hours a week) role.

This role will have you:

• Supporting student achievement

• Establishing student engagement on their programme

• Monitoring transition pathways

• Coordinating STAR courses

• Participating in continued self-education

• Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and learning environment

You will ideally hold a qualification in tertiary teaching and/or the National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (Vocational) Level 5 (or be working toward this); or relevant work experi...
