Opportunity Description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Unit Representative for the Deskovick 3 Unit- Spine at Morristown Medical Center to work 7am-3pm, including weekends as required by department. 


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients, visitors, healthcare team members, and physicians
  • Order transcription
  • Use of CPOM
  • Assisting charge nurse/coordinator with patient flow through the unit
  • Patient chart maintenance; answering the phone
  • Other miscellaneous administrative duties

    • Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

    • Minimum Experience:

  • Previous Unit Rep experience in a hospital or medical office
  • The candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal communication skills and telephone etiquette
  • Computer literate and knowledge/training in medical terminology
