Job Description
- Plan and execute vehicle testing activities on proving grounds and test tracks.
- Perform brake testing, including performance, fade, recovery, and ABS/ESC validation.
- Conduct handling, stability, and ride comfort tests.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using data acquisition systems.
- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to development teams.
- Ensure all testing is conducted in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support prototype vehicle builds and instrumentation.
- The Function Application Engineer is responsible for the vehicle performance relating to EBS control functions.
- Achieves the requested vehicle performance by adjusting functional parameters and evaluating other possible solutions related to the function and its boundaries (vehicle, brake system, ...).
