NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students an opportunity to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under veterinary supervision.
• Assist in laboratory procedures and anesthesia administration.
• Support surgical assistance and radiology examinations.
• Communicate effectively with medical teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited veterinary technician programme in Canada.
• Completing the final practicum in your final year of study.
