SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Chief Medical Officer for Value-based Care provides senior physician leadership to advance population health strategy across the academic health system. This role integrates clinical excellence, value-based care, health equity, education, and research to improve outcomes for defined populations while supporting the tripartite academic mission of clinical care, education, and discovery. The CMO partners closely with faculty leaders, department chairs, and health system executives to align population health initiatives with academic priorities.
