For our client, aleading organization in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking a Vice President - Data Platform and Engineering to oversee enterprise applications and database environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and system availability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the implementation, configuration, and administration of applications and databases (Oracle & SQL Server).
Plan and optimize IT infrastructure capacity including servers and database performance.
Monitor database performance and manage backup, restoration, RAC, and clustering with the infrastructure team.
Install patches, manage system changes, and ensure data integrity and system availability .
