Opportunity Description
What We're Looking For
- Significant commercial experience building and supporting complex software systems (typically 10+ years)
- Strong expertise in core Java
- Deep understanding of concurrent programming and parallel execution
- Background in developing high‑performance pricing or trading platforms on Linux
- Proven experience with performance analysis, profiling, and optimisation
Nice to Have
- Exposure to electronic FX or similar low‑latency environments, including memory‑efficient / GC‑conscious systems
- Familiarity with financial market protocols (e.g. FIX‑style or binary encodings)
- Experience designing resilient, highly available distributed systems
- Knowledge of low‑latency messaging frameworks
