Schneider is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Carlsbad to lead a warehouse or terminal. The Warehouse Operations Manager will coach warehouse associates while overseeing warehouse metrics related to safety, quality, productivity, cost control and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates and leaders. Adhere to budgets and review financial results. Develop strategies around staffing and schedules to align with volume and demand. Hold associates and leaders accountable for achieving business metrics and goals. Provide guidance on the warehouse's daily activities, including loading/unloading freight, doing maintenance, checking inventory, etc. Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve issues and implement improvement opportunities. Organize regular staff meetings to ensure proper communication.
