SUMMARY:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for:
- Plumbing systems
- Water reticulation
- Sewer and drainage systems
- Stormwater systems
- Fire protection systems
- Sprinkler systems
- Fire hydrant layouts
- Hose reel systems
- Produce coordinated construction and as-built drawings.
- Draft layouts, schematics, riser diagrams, and sectional details.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop compliant designs.
- Ensure drawings comply with:
- SANS regulations
- Municipal bylaws
- Fire safety regulations
- Building codes
- Amend and revise drawings according to project requirements and engineer comments.
- Assist with tender documentation and project submissions.
