Wind/Solar Engineer

Job Description

A large consulting company with offices around the world is looking for a Senior Wind/Solar Engineer to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.

This position provides the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting international renewable projects and collaborate with experts around the world.

Minimum requirements:

•Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent through experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in the solar or wind industry, preferably in consultancy with at least 5 years in overall experience in renewable energy.

• Thorough experience with technical due diligence on solar and/or wind projects, specifically experience with PV EPC, O&M, PPA and Wind Turbine contracts review (EPC, WTG supply contract, O&M, PPA), as Lender’s/Owner’s technical advisor.

• Experience with technical solar and wind turbine inspections construction monitoring.
